Diminazene aceturate
            1 050 mg
Excipient q.s.f
            2 360 mg

 

INDICATIONS

Target  species:  cattle,  buffaloes,  horses,  sheep,  goats,  dogs.
- Treatment  and  prevention  of  bebesiosis  (piroplasmosis),  thei-­leriosis,  trypanosomiasis  and  trichomoniasis  or  mixed  infections  with  trypanosomas  and  piroplasmas:  
  ●  Trypanosoma:  T.  Congolense,  T.  Brucei,  T.  Evansi,  T.  Vivax.
 ●   Babesia  Bovis,  B.  Bigemina,  B.  Ovis,  B.  Motasi,  B.  Canis.
 ●  Theileria  annulata.
 ●  Trichomonas  foetus.
- The  preparation  is  indicated  also  to  young,  weak  animals  and  female  animals  in  gestation.

  ADMINISTRATION AND  DOSAGE 

Deep   I.M.  injection.

Dissolve  each  vial  into  14  ml  of  water  for  injection.

- Curative  dose:                                                                                                                              3.5  mg  diminazene/kg  b.w     

                                                                                                                                                                                or  one  vial  per  300  kg  b.w

If  necessary,  the  dose  can  be  raised  up  to  8  mg/kg  b.w,  but  the  total  single  dose  should  not  exceed  4  g/head.

- Preventive  dose:                                                           7  ml  of  solution/100  kg  b.w

- Treatment  for  dogs:  Dissolve  the  content  of  vial  in  25  ml  of  water  for  injection  and  inject  each  1  ml  per  10  kg  b.w

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat: 21 days
 
Milk: 5 days (10 milkings)
SHELF-LIFE 5 years.
STORAGE In cool, dry place, protected from light
PRESENTATION Vials of   2.36 g.
