SANPET FLUGUARD


Sanpet Fluguard® is a chewable ectoparasiticide for dogs, containing Fluralaner. It provides long-lasting protection against fleas, ticks, and mites with efficacy up to 12 weeks after a single dose. The product is palatable and well-tolerated in dogs.


Each dose contains:
Sanpet Fluguard® chews for dogs 2.0–4.5 kg 112.5 mg Fluralaner
Sanpet Fluguard® chews for dogs 4.5–10.0 kg         250 mg Fluralaner
Sanpet Fluguard® chews for dogs 10.0–20.0 kg         500 mg Fluralaner
Sanpet Fluguard® chews for dogs 20.0–40.0 kg         1000 mg Fluralaner

- Treatment and prevention of flea (adult and immature stages) and tick infestations in dogs for up to 3 months.
- Controls Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes holocyclus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, and other tick species.
- Controls infestations of American dog ticks for up to 8 weeks.
- Treats mite infestations including Demodex spp., Sarcoptes, and Otodectes spp.
- Prevents transmission of Babesia canis by Dermacentor reticulatus by killing ticks before disease transmission occurs.

For oral use only. Give one chew every 12 weeks. May be given with or without food.

Dosage Table:

- Do not divide or crush the chewable tablet.
- For dogs over 56 kg, administer two tablets according to the closest weight.
- Re-treatment interval: every 12 weeks.

Contra-indications
Do not use in puppies < 8 weeks or weighing < 2.0 kg, or in kittens < 1.2 kg. Safety not established in breeding, pregnant or lactating animals.
Side Effects
Generally well-tolerated. Occasional mild reactions: vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, or lethargy. Rarely: hypersensitivity reactions (itching, redness, swelling).
Overdose
No adverse effects observed at up to 5× maximum dose.
Storage
Store below 30°C. Do not remove chew until ready to use.
