SANPET-PLUS

COMPOSITION:

Each tablet contains:

• Praziquantel: 50mg
• Pyrantel embonate: 144mg
• Febantel: 150mg
• Excipient q.s.f: 1 tablet

INDICATIONS:

For the treatment of the following gastrointestinal nematodes and cestodes in adult dogs and puppies:

- Nemtatodes:

• Ascarids: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adult and late immature forms).
• Hookworms: Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults).
• Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis (adults).

- Cestodes:

• Tapeworms: Echinococcus sp., Taenia sp., Dipylidium caninum (adults and immature forms).

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• ​Do not use simultaneously with piperazine compounds.
• Do not use in animals with a known hypersensitivity to the drug components.
• This product is not recommended for use in puppies weighing less than 3 kg b.w.

ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:

• For oral administration only. The tablets can be given directly to the dog or disguised in food.
• 1 SANPET-PLUS tablet per 10 kg body weight (equivalent to 15mg febantel/kg b.w, 14.4 mg pyrantel embonate/kg b.w and 5 mg/ praziquantel/kg b.w).

CAUTIONS:

• Any part-used tablets should be discarded.
• Wash hands after administration to the animal.
• In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice and show the package leaflet to the physician.

SIDE EFFECTS:  Gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, vomiting) are rarely observed.

FOR PREGNANT & LACTATING ANIMALS:

• It is recommended that the product is not used in dogs during the first 4 weeks of pregnancy.
• The product may be used during lactation.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

• Do not use simultaneously with piperazine compounds as the anthelmintic effects of pyrantel and piperazine may be antagonized.
• Concurrent use with other cholinergic compounds can lead to toxicity.

SHELF-LIFE:  36 months.

STORAGE:  Store in a dark and cool place, protect from light.

PRESENTATION:  1 box containing 10 blister tablets.
