Oxylin LA 30% Super

COMPOSITION

Each ml contains:

Oxytetracyclin        300 mg

Excipient q.s.f        1 ml

Indications:

For the treatment of respiratory disease, pneumonia, shipping fever, keratoconjunctivitis, foot-rot, diphtheria, bacterial enteritis, wooden tongue, leptospirosis, wound infections, acute metritis in cattle, calves and pigs caused by Pasteurella spp., and Histophilus spp., Moraxella bovis, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Escherichia coli, Actinobacillus lignieresi, Leptospira pomona, and strains of staphylococcal and streptococcal organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline. 

Administration and dosage

 I.M injection

Average dose is 20 mg/ kg b.w

Prolonged effect after a single dose up to 72 hours. If necessary, the dose may be repeated after 4-6 days.

Do not inject more than 20 ml for cattle, 10 ml for pigs, 5 ml for sheep per injection site.

Withdrawal period:

Meat: 22 days

Milk: 3 hours
