HANPROCILLIN

COMPOSITION:

1mL contains:

• Procaine Benzylpennicillin: 300mg
• Excipient q.s.f: 1mL

INDICATIONS: For the treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to penicillin in horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats.

ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:

• Horses and cattle:  12mg per kg b.w. by I.M. injection.
• Sheeps and pigs: 15mg per kg b.w. by I.M. injection.
• Dogs and cats: 30mg per kg b.w. (1mL per 10kg b.w.) by subcutaneous administration.
• Horses, cows: 500kg ~ 20mL.
• Sheeps, pigs: 50kg ~ 2.5mL.
• Dogs: 10kg ~ 1mL.
• Cats: 5kg ~0.5mL.

Clean the area of the injetion site and swab with spirit. Shake well before use. Treatment may be repeated at intervals of 24 hours for up to 5 administrations. For organisms highly susceptible to penicilin, such as  Streptococcus dysgalactiae  in sheep, treatment may be repeated at 48 hours intervals for up to 3 administrations.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

• Milk: 11 days.
• Meat: 5 days.
