COMPOSITION:
1mL contains:
- Procaine Benzylpennicillin: 300mg
- Excipient q.s.f: 1mL
INDICATIONS: For the treatment of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to penicillin in horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats.
ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE:
- Horses and cattle: 12mg per kg b.w. by I.M. injection.
- Sheeps and pigs: 15mg per kg b.w. by I.M. injection.
- Dogs and cats: 30mg per kg b.w. (1mL per 10kg b.w.) by subcutaneous administration.
- Horses, cows: 500kg ~ 20mL.
- Sheeps, pigs: 50kg ~ 2.5mL.
- Dogs: 10kg ~ 1mL.
- Cats: 5kg ~0.5mL.
Clean the area of the injetion site and swab with spirit. Shake well before use. Treatment may be repeated at intervals of 24 hours for up to 5 administrations. For organisms highly susceptible to penicilin, such as Streptococcus dysgalactiae in sheep, treatment may be repeated at 48 hours intervals for up to 3 administrations.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
- Milk: 11 days.
- Meat: 5 days.
