OXYTOCIN

Species:  cattle,  sows,  ewes,  and  rabbits,  bitches,  cats...  in  such  cases  of:
- Speeding  expulsion  of  the  foetus  or  foetuses,  slow  parturition  due  to  uterus  atony.
- Retention  of  the  placenta,  post  partum  haemorrhage. Onset  of  milk  production,  post-partum  agalactia.

I.M., S.C.,  I.V  injection.
- Mares, cows:                                                                                  4-­6  ml
- Sows:                                                                                              2-­4  ml
- Ewes, goats:                                                                                  1-­3  ml
- Bitches:                                                                                          0.5-­1  ml
-­ Cats:                                                                                                0.2-­0.5ml
For I.V., take half  of  I.M. dose,  diluted  1:10  in  Isotonic  saline.   
If necessary, the  dose  can  be  repeated  after  30  minutes.
