- Oestrus control and synchronization: i.m. inject 2 ml on the 5th-15th of the sexual cycle. oestrus appears within 48-72 hours. if necessary, repeat the injection after 11 days.
- Pyometra, endometritis: in cows suffering from chronic ende-metritis, purulent excretion are generally present 5 weeks after parturition. after 18-36 hours of injection of 2 ml han-prost, in-flammatory material is pushed out and applying antibiotic thera-py. inject twice at intervals of 10-14 days to induce a new cycle.
- Anoestrus or suboetrus, due to the persist of luteum corpus (checked by rectal palpation): han-prost inducts regression of the corpus and heat appears 48-72 hours after. if heat appears, conduct insemination or covering. if no heat, a second dose must be injected 11 days after the first one. a double artificial insemination must be applied within 72-96 hours after the second injection.
- Induction of partutition after the 270th day of gestation: parturi-tion occurs within 44 hours. the best result is taken if simultane-ously used with Dexamethason.
Sows:
- I.M. injection: 0.7-1 ml/heaD.
- Generally, synchronization of heat to plane anD control the parturition of the sows.
- Early parturition: Inject one Dose of Han-Prost on the 112th Day of gestation. Parturition occurs within 18-36 hours.
Mares:
- I.M. injection: 1 ml/head.
- Induction heat: inject twice at intervals of 14-18 days. ovulation will appear on the 6th-12th day after the second injection.
Ewes:
- I.M. injection: 1 ml/head.
- Induction heat: inject on the 5th day of sexual cycle and repeat 11 days after, the heat appears after 2 days.
- Early parturition: inject one dose han-prost on the 144th day of gestation, the parturition will be inducted after 10-18 hours.
