HANVET visited Taiwan for knowledge exchange about pet clinic

Taipei City, Taiwan- August 08, 2014 - In response to an invitation from Taiwan Veterinary Institute, HANVET pet clinic representatives enjoyed an informative knowledge sharing trip to Taiwan from August 03 to 08, 2014. General manager of a well-known pet brand of Loving Kindness hosted the trip to guide HANVET representatives to visit a series of establishments in the complex of pet clinics and supermarkets in Kaohsiung, Tainan and Taipei. Training sections were also organized for veterinarians from both sides to share experiences about the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases and dematitis in pets.

“We have got a new vision for our pet clinic improvement in Vietnam after this trip. Taiwan is actually a big market for pet care products, where pet are being loved as family members. At HANVET, we are good at taking care of pets’ health but we haven’t focused on other supporting areas such as beauty spa or pet store. We do hope to explore more chances to discuss and cooperate for a renovating plan of our pet clinic.”, said MD. Nguyen Thi Huyen, Director of HANVET Pet clinic.

During the trip, HANVET representatives were also invited to have a meeting with the Principal of National Taiwan University & Veterinary Hospital. At the meeting, the Principal offered HANVET to participate in more training sessions and knowledge exchanges with Taiwan proffessors. MD. Nguyen Thi Huyen enthused: “With a tremendous support from Taiwan experts, we also look forwards to opening a training session on a monthly basis, contributing to the improvement of the capability of pet veterinarians across Vietnam.”

Located in an area of approx. 300 m2, the Pet World and Loving Kindness Rende branch hospital in Tainan City is one of the biggest Pet clinics and supermarket complexes of Taiwan.
